Who are you going to call?
Catherine Bachy, Organizational Excellence Partner
POD’s newest program, Partnership for Organizational Excellence, offers consulting and coaching services to staff and faculty of academic units. While services from the University Consulting Alliance are available to all University of Washington departments, Partnership for Organizational Excellence (POE) is a University-supported program that serves academic units at a greatly subsidized cost with a dedicated team.
POE offers focused, short-term engagements (six to eight weeks) to assist units with a leadership or organizational challenge. Through an online intake form we ask you to describe your need as best you can and then we follow up with a phone call to better assess how our consultation can best support your desired outcomes.
Here are a few examples of the kinds of services available through POE:
- Half-day, facilitated retreats to help your staff/faculty align its vision, mission and values, to achieve your department’s goals
- Five-session developmental coaching packages for leaders, managers and individual contributors
- Two-hour individualized succession planning workshops to help you think strategically about your unit’s future staffing needs and priorities
