We are delighted to launch POD’s new program for academic units: Partnership for Organizational Excellence. The purpose of this program is to support academic leaders and units with strategic goals, leadership and team development, and organizational needs. While these services are also available to both academic and administrative units through the University Consulting Alliance, the Partnership for Organizational Excellence is a University-supported program that serves academic units at a subsidized cost and with a dedicated team.

“A learning organization is an organization that is continually expanding its capacity to create its future.”

~Peter Senge, author of The Fifth Discipline: The Art and Practice of the Learning Organization

Organizational excellence is a continuous effort of learning and development, improving, revising and adapting to an ever-dynamic and changing world. We believe that the organizations that are most successful in achieving their missions are those that foster continuous learning to address the adaptive challenges of our era. This is our bailiwick, our raison d'être as professionals, and to that end we offer our experience with leadership coaching, facilitation, strategic planning, effective administration and managing change in service of your organizational needs.

In addition, as strategic partners from outside of your unit or department, we offer the benefit of neutrality and the ability to speak hard truths when needed. We are excited to be your partners in assessing the needs of your organization and offering focused, short-term services to strengthen your capacities to achieve your vision.

For more information on our service areas, spend some time on our website. There, you can learn more about our structure and the three dedicated staff who will work with you: Catherine Bachy, Keya Burks and Lizette Ruiz. In addition, we have created a list of Frequently Asked Questions about our services. Ready to get started? Follow the link on our website to complete a work request form. You can also contact us at podoe@uw.edu or call us at 206-685-1697. We look forward to partnering with you!
